Corvus feels the bite of the second wolf, but it doesn't penetrate his skin.  It tries to trip him by tugging at his pantleg, but he is able to pull away from it.  The third wolf gets a better shot and bites his arm dealing 2 damage, in doing so it pulls Corvus off balance and trips him.

Finding himself prone, Corvus attempts to tumble back to his feet.
